BSU Hosts Conference on Family and Traditional Values
Baku State University (BSU) held a conference titled “Protection of Traditional Values and the Family Institution as an Important Factor in the Educational Process” in cooperation with the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs, marking International Family Day on May 15.
State Committee Chairperson Bahar Muradova highlighted the family as a cornerstone of society and announced work on a new Family Concept to protect national and moral values. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and government bodies in this effort.
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev stressed the role of national values in shaping youth and praised the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s contributions to preserving traditions. He reaffirmed BSU’s commitment to promoting national identity and moral values through education.
The event was attended by officials, academics, and public figures, who discussed ways to strengthen the role of family and values in education.
