BSU Hosts Conference on “Problems of Physics and Astronomy”
The 26th Republican Scientific Conference of Master’s Students and Young Researchers on “Problems of Physics and Astronomy” was held at Baku State University (BSU). The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Physics and the Research Institute for Physical Problems within the framework of the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.
Opening the conference, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physics Vusal Mammadov emphasized the role of such events in developing the scientific potential of young researchers. A total of 98 scientific papers are scheduled for presentation by participants representing research institutes and higher education institutions across the country.
Director of the BSU Center for Organization of Scientific Activity and Innovations Farid Nagiyev highlighted the importance of encouraging young people to engage in scientific research, while Director of the Research Institute for Physical Problems Mais Suleymanov spoke about modern trends in physics and the role of artificial intelligence in science.
The conference continued with plenary presentations and section meetings, where certificates were presented to participants.
