Baku State University (BSU) has hosted a conference on the theme "Azerbaijan in the Early 20th Century: Roads Leading to Independence", dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

The conference was organized jointly by the university, the Council of Veterans of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), and the Yasamal District Organization of YAP.

The conference was attended by The chairman of the Yasamal District Organization of YAP, Bakhtiyar Nabiev; the Chairman of the YAP Veterans Council, Arif Rahimzade; BSU Vice-Rector Alish Agamirzaev; a member of the YAP Veterans Council, Professor Dilyara Seidzade; BSU Associate Professor Khumar Safarova; faculty members and students.
