A meeting with a delegation led by Huang Zhixiang, Vice President of Anhui University of the People's Republic of China, was held at Baku State University (BSU).

Welcoming the guests, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that cooperation with Anhui University has evolved into a comprehensive academic partnership encompassing student exchanges, joint educational programs, scientific research, and dual-degree initiatives. He emphasized that Anhui University has become one of BSU’s key partners in China.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding student and faculty exchange programs, exploring new dual-degree opportunities, implementing joint research projects, establishing a joint research laboratory, and participating together in international grant programs. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation in the fields of digitalization, innovation, and educational technologies, as well as to the successful implementation of the recently launched joint dual-degree programs in physics.

The discussions also focused on enhancing scientific integration, establishing a joint research laboratory, and launching a joint doctoral-level dual-degree program in Chinese language teaching.
