Baku State University (BSU) hosted an official visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, led by Deputy Minister Du Jiangfeng. The guests were received by the university’s leadership. The meeting was also attended by Hasan Hasanli, Deputy Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, and Simuzer Feyzullayeva, Head of the Ministry’s International Cooperation Department.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in higher education, developing international research projects, implementing student and faculty exchange programs, and expanding the activities of the Confucius Institute at BSU.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Confucius Institute, met with faculty and students, and exchanged views on mutual experiences and educational opportunities.

BSU leadership underlined the importance of launching new joint initiatives, highlighting the university’s scientific and cultural potential, active student participation in international programs, and efforts to develop innovative educational projects.
