Baku State University (BSU) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Dalian University of Technology, People's Republic of China.

The meeting was attended by BSU Vice-Rector Shahin Panakhov; Director of the Center for Organization of Scientific Activity and Innovations, Mais Suleymanov; Head of the Department of International Relations, Rauf Hasanov; Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Economics, Lachin Abyshly; Deputy Dean, Galib Gafarly; Director of the GIS Research Center of Dalian University of Technology, Guo Shuhong; Associate Professor at the Institute of Marxism, Diao Huhua; and Deputy Head of the Department of Economics, Jhen Zhen.

The sides discussed potential areas of cooperation between the two universities. The guests were provided with detailed information about the history, structure, academic and research activities of BSU. In turn, representatives of Dalian University of Technology shared their experiences in the field of international relations.

Both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange in the development of educational programs, scientific research, and international projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, proposals were made to implement joint initiatives in economics, international relations, linguistics, science, and technology, as well as to organize student and faculty exchange programs.
