As part of the “100 Days – 100 Initiatives” campaign, the Regional Development Public Association (RDPA) and Baku State University (BSU) held a joint educational event within the framework of the “Agroschool” project.
Opening the event, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev stressed the importance of the initiative, noting that it helps increase young people’s interest in science and enhances their knowledge and skills in applying modern approaches to agriculture. He also emphasized that the university’s long-term development strategy places particular focus on fostering a scientific worldview among youth and expanding access to innovative technologies.
As part of the program, participants visited the BSU Museum of Genetics, Evolution, and Mineral Resources, where they learned about key stages of life development, geological periods, and natural history. The tour continued in the “Ecospace,” where specialists delivered an interactive presentation on the advantages of hydroponic technology and demonstrated soil-less plant cultivation methods and seed germination in water.
At the conclusion of the event, actively participating attendees were awarded certificates.
