On February 22, 2024, an event titled "Language – the Face of the Nation" was held at Baku State University (BSU). The event was organized by the Faculty of Philology, the SABAH Center, and the Student Youth Organization of the university.

Nahida Gasanova, the event's moderator and a lecturer at the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics and the SABAH Center, emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the native language. She also discussed the main tasks facing the youth in this regard.

The Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at BSU, Professor Tofik Haciyev, along with Associate Professor Ismail Mamedov from the same department and Professor Gulu Maharamli, the Head of the Department of Multimedia and Electronic Communications, shared insights with students about the historical development and stages of the formation of the Azerbaijani language.
