BSU Hosts Information Session by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance
An information session organized by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance was held for students at Baku State University (BSU).
Alekper Hasanov, a specialist from BSU’s Department of Humanitarian Issues and Youth Policy, provided an overview of the Agency’s areas of activity. He highlighted that, in order to protect public health and enhance access to essential medical services, a system of compulsory health insurance has been in place since 2021. Through this system, every citizen is entitled to receive high-quality medical care.
Following this, Fuad Bayramov, a leading specialist at the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, delivered a presentation detailing the procedures for applying for and utilizing compulsory health insurance, as well as the services included in the Mandatory Health Insurance Service Package.
The session concluded with an interactive segment, during which students asked questions regarding the use of health insurance and participated in an online survey aimed at improving service quality.
