An information session on the third cycle of the "Enlightener" internship program for students and recent graduates was held at Baku State University (BSU). The session was organized through the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education, with the support of the Education Development Fund.

Gunel Gurbanova, Head of the Career and Alumni Center at BSU, opened the session by highlighting the Center’s core activities. She emphasized that the Center is dedicated to helping students build career roadmaps, prepare for the job market, and foster collaboration between public and private sectors. The Enlightener program, she noted, is one such opportunity aimed at supporting the professional development of students and graduates.

Representatives from the Ministry of Science and Education, the implementing body of the Enlightener program, shared further insights. Tunzala Veliyeva, along with BSU alumni and previous program winners — Arzu Gulmamedova, Javid Bagirov, and Sema Aliyeva — spoke about their experiences and the program’s impact.

They explained that selected participants will have the chance to intern in various departments and affiliated organizations of the Ministry, including regional education offices and the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The program is open to Azerbaijani citizens who are in their final year of undergraduate or graduate studies, as well as those who have graduated within the past three years. It was also noted that 73% of the current program participants are women, with BSU students and alumni making up the majority of the selected candidates.

The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the application process and benefits of the Enlightener program.
