The Faculty of Law of Baku State University (BSU) has hosted an international online conference "Modern Problems of Legal Science" dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was moderated by Professor Ziyafet Asgarov, Milli Majlis First Deputy.
Speaking at the conference BSU rector Elchin Babayev noted that the COVID-19 pandemic had affected educational systems worldwide, however provided new opportunities for modern educational applications. He highlighted the importance of the work carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. “The Faculty of Law is one of the largest educational and scientific divisions for the development of legal science and the training of lawyers”, concluded Elchin Babayev. Dean of the Faculty of Law Professor Amir Aliyev made presentation on advances in legal science.
The event was attended by Masuma Melikova, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law; Ercan Akdogan, Professor at Ankara University; Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Igor Isayev, Professor at Kutafin Moscow State Law University; Safa Mirzayev, Chief of Milli Majlis staff; Arif Guliyev, Professor at the National Aviation Academy of Ukraine; Shahin Aliyev, Head of the Department of Legislation and Legal Expertise of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan; Damir Shapsugov, Professor at the Southern Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
