BSU hosts international conference “One Nation, Six States. Media platform of Turkic-speaking countries"

A two-day online international scientific conference “One nation, six states. Media platform of the Turkic-speaking countries” concluded its work on November 18, 2021. The event was organized by the Journalism Research Laboratory of the Faculty of Journalism jointly with the Institute for Economic Development and Social Research (İKSAD).

The online conference was modearted by Allahverdi Mammadli, Head of the Department of Television and radio journalism. He spoke about the The 8th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States. “The  21st century has been characterized by the development of the Turkic states in the plitical, economic, social and cultural spheres”, said Allahverdi Mammadli.

Professors of the Faculty of Journalism - Jahangir Mammadli, Hamid Veliyev, Gulu Maharramli, Sabir Mammadli, Professor of Izzet Baisal University Himmet Karadal made presentations at the conference.

President of the Global Journalism Council (GJC) Mehmet Ali Dim, Chairman of SODIMER Levent Eraslan, Editor-in-Chief of the Yazar newspaper Servet Avshar, Chairman of the World Communication Society Shemsettin Kuzeji, Head of the Institute of Security Sciences of the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy Tekin Avaner made speeches during the conference.

More than 200 papers from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Philippines, Mexico, Morocco, Indonesia, Romania, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were presented at the conference.
