BSU Hosts Joint Training with Kazakhstan’s Psychological Support Institute
An international scientific and practical training program on psychological and social support is currently underway at Baku State University (BSU). The event is organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology at BSU and initiated by the Institute of Psychological and Social Support of Kazakhstan.
The training, titled "New Interventions: Short-Term Psychotherapy Using the 'Self-Control' Method for Mental Health Professionals," is led by Professor Mansur Asimov from Turan University (Kazakhstan) and Professor Firuza Bagiyarova from Kazakhstan National Medical University. The program spans 60 academic hours.
Participants will gain insight into next-generation techniques in clinical psychology and psychotherapy. In particular, the course focuses on the theoretical foundations, structure, and practical application of the innovative "self-control" method.
