BSU Hosts Meeting with Delegation from the DOST Agency
Baku State University (BSU) hosted a meeting with a delegation led by Tural Mailov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST).
During the meeting, BSU Vice-Rector Alish Agamirzayev spoke about the successful implementation of the joint Action Plan developed as part of the memorandum of cooperation between BSU and the DOST Agency. He emphasized that training highly qualified professionals in alignment with labor market demands is one of the university's top priorities. This objective is being pursued through active collaboration with employers. Notably, among government institutions, this cooperative model was first established with the DOST Agency.
Tural Mailov, Deputy Chairman of the DOST Agency, noted the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the field of social policy. In this context, he highlighted the significant role of cooperation with BSU, which plays an important part in training future specialists in social disciplines.
The meeting included a discussion of both completed and upcoming initiatives within the framework of the BSU–DOST Agency Action Plan.
