BSU Hosts Meeting with ISESCO Advisor Muhammad Sharif
Baku State University (BSU) hosted a meeting with Muhammad Sharif, Advisor on Science and Technology of the World Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
During the meeting, Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted BSU’s scientific potential and its ongoing efforts to strengthen international collaboration, particularly with ISESCO. He emphasized the important role of the ISESCO Department of Biomedical Materials, established at BSU, in advancing this partnership. Rector Babayev also noted that plans are underway to further expand cooperation through joint projects, conferences, and training programs.
In his remarks, Muhammad Sharif spoke about ISESCO’s initiatives aimed at promoting scientific development among its member countries and facilitating the global engagement of emerging researchers. He underlined the significance of ISESCO’s collaboration with Azerbaijan, describing the relationship with BSU as exemplary.
The meeting also explored opportunities for further cooperation between BSU and ISESCO, including the implementation of joint research projects, support for startup initiatives, and the active involvement of students in innovative activities.
