Baku State University (BSU) hosted a meeting with Abdulgafor Kirgizbaev, Rector of the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with universities from Turkic-speaking countries as a key aspect of BSU's international cooperation strategy. He highlighted the growing academic and scientific collaboration between BSU and higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, noting the significance of the agreement signed with Tashkent State Pedagogical University in this context. Rector Babayev also stressed the importance of initiating joint research projects and launching double degree programs.

In turn, Rector Abdulgafor Kirgizbaev expressed confidence that the partnership would contribute positively to the academic development of both institutions. He outlined broad opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the fields of pedagogy and psychology.

The meeting also focused on the development of joint academic programs, the expansion of faculty and student exchange initiatives, and the implementation of collaborative research projects.
