BSU Hosts Opening Ceremony of Career Festival
Baku State University (BSU), in cooperation with the State Employment Agency and the BSU Students’ Trade Union Committee, hosted the opening ceremony of the Career Festival.
The festival brings together over 100 leading employers offering more than 1,200 job vacancies and around 500 scholarship programs to BSU students and graduates. Attendees also include students from other universities, as well as job seekers.
In his opening remarks, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted the festival’s role in connecting youth with top employers and supporting their career development. The event features workshops, trainings, startup corners, and simulation interviews to enhance students’ skills and employability.
Representatives from the State Employment Agency, State Agency for Science and Higher Education, LU-MUN Holding, and AZERA Holding also addressed participants, emphasizing the importance of aligning education with modern labor market needs.
The festival will continue with various activities aimed at preparing students for successful integration into the workforce.
