Baku State University (BSU) hosted the presentation of the music video “Different Individuals”, dedicated to children with disabilities.

The video was produced with the support of the Ministry of Culture and organized by the Inclusive Creative Union “There is Hope” and the Public Association “Happy Future of Children”, with sponsorship from PASHA Holding.

Nurana Abiyeva, a speech and sign language trainer and moderator of the event, emphasized that the central aim of an inclusive society is to engage individuals with disabilities in everyday life and ensure equal access to opportunities and resources.

Ramin Samedov, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Issues and Youth Policy at BSU, noted that national programs are actively promoting inclusive education across the country. He highlighted that BSU is committed to this mission: “Involving people with disabilities in all university processes and supporting their development is one of our main goals. Because they are not disabled — they are just different.”

Nazilya Magerramova, Chairperson of “There is Hope”, and autism researcher Esmer Askerova stressed that the anthem is a contribution to fostering an inclusive society. They also noted that such initiatives raise awareness and empathy among students toward disability-related issues.

The event concluded with a heartwarming concert performed by children with disabilities.
