The Faculty of Biology at Baku State University (BSU) hosted a scientific seminar on the topic of 'Cancer: genome, diagnostics, methods of therapy'.

Faculty member Nurlan Amrakhov from the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, along with students Afsane Bakhyshzade, Sona Dunyamalieva, Laman Agayeva, and Gulenber Ahmedova, delivered presentations at the seminar. The speakers provided extensive information about cancer, therapies, and scientific advances in new treatments such as CAR-T and CRISPR-Cas9.

The seminar was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty, Afet Mammadova.
