BSU Hosts Scientific Seminar on Formation of Hybrid Nanowires
The Center of Excellence for Research, Development, and Innovation at Baku State University (BSU) hosted a scientific seminar on the formation of hybrid nanowires.
Lala Gahramanly, a leading research scientist at the center's Nano-Research Laboratory, made a presentation titled "Formation of Hybrid Nanowires Ag-Ag2S-CdS and Prospects for Their Use in the Decomposition of Organic Pollutants."
Lala Gahramanly provided information on the synthesis, structure, morphology, and physical properties of nanocatalysts based on Ag-Ag2S-CdS with a hybrid one-dimensional (1D) structure. She also highlighted the potential industrial applications of such structures. It was noted that the research results have been published in a Q1 category journal.
The seminar also discussed the use of these materials in the processing of petroleum fractions.
