The Faculty of Oriental Studies of Baku State University has hosted a scientific seminar entitled “Functional-semantic features of the dictionary form of the Japanese verbs in the context of Altaistics”.

Professor Ogtay Jalilbeyli, Head of the Department of Far Eastern Languages and Literature of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Baku State University made a presentation on the topic.

He spoke about the grammatical and functional-semantic features of the dictionary form of the verbs based on Azerbaijani and Japanese in the context of Altaistics.

Ogtay Jalilbayli presented the results of the research in the form of tables and graphs.
