BSU hosts seminar on Environmental assessment of Gusar-Gonagkend region

The Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science of Baku State University (BSU) has hosted a scientific seminar on the Environmental assessment of Gusar-Gonagkend region.
Sanam Isayeva, PhD student of the Department of Geographical Ecology made presentation entitled "Environmental assessment of the soils of the Gusar-Gonagkend cadastral region".
The main purpose of the research is to conduct an environmental assessment of the soil of the Gusar-Gonagkend cadastral region. According to the research 56.1% of the soils have been exposed by erosion, and 24.6% of dark chestnut soils are subject to salinization.
