BSU hosts seminar on mitochondrial genetic diseases

Biological Faculty of Baku State University (BSU) has hosted a scientific seminar titled 'Molecular Organization of Complex I in the Mitochondrial Electron Transport Chain and a Range of Genetic Diseases Caused by Its Defects.'
The seminar, conducted by master's students Meltem Gasimova and Dinara Javadzade, was organized in the format of defending their research work.
The presentation provided information on genetic diseases caused by processes of electron transfer chain within mitochondria. The speakers discussed the identification and manifestation of these genetic diseases, as well as the research methodology.
