BSU Hosts Session on Artificial Intelligence
In celebration of Science Day on March 27, the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics at Baku State University (BSU) hosted a scientific session on “Artificial Intelligence: Current State and Synergistic Effect of Future Use.”
The session was led by Ramin Rzayev, Head of the Laboratory at the Institute of Control Systems under the Ministry of Science and Education.
During his speech, Ramin Rzayev discussed the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the global economy, highlighting its synergy with emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, and Blockchain. He emphasized that AI can drive technological advancement, enhance competitiveness, and create high-tech job opportunities.
He also noted the importance of studying AI’s role in the digital economy, stating that while AI cannot fully replace humans, it can significantly improve efficiency, energy usage, and cost savings. Rzayev stressed the need for continued research, specialized training programs, regulatory frameworks, and ethical standards to support AI’s sustainable development.
The session concluded with engaging discussions on the future of AI and its applications.
