Baku State University hosted the international conference on "European and national law: the formation of mutual relations and prospects of development" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the 70th anniversary of the United Nations and UNESCO, the 65th anniversary of the European Convention of 1950, the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Academician Abel Maharramov said that the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan was adopted during the reign of national leader Heydar Aliyev and was highly appreciated by European countries and the international communities. He also noted BSU ties with German universities, particular "double diploma" project with the University of Wurzburg.

35 presentation will be made during the conference.
