BSU Hosts Training on Career Planning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Baku State University (BSU) held a training session titled “Career Planning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving job market shaped by technological advancements.

Pervane Babayeva, a specialist at the BSU Career and Alumni Center, addressed key issues such as the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the global labor market, the disappearance of certain traditional professions, and the emergence of new career paths driven by digital technologies. She emphasized the importance of aligning human potential with technological progress through the development of personal skills, adaptive learning, and enhanced digital literacy.

The event featured an interactive discussion session, where students explored both the positive and negative implications of AI in professional development. Teams delivered insightful presentations on topics such as the opportunities AI creates in career growth, its ethical and social dimensions, the shifting demands for human labor, and the rising importance of acquiring new skills.

In addition, participants received practical guidance on current labor market trends, resume writing, interview preparation, and personal brand development.
