BSU Hosts Training on “Eating Disorders”
A training session on the topic “Eating Disorders” was organized for students by the Psychological Support Sector of Baku State University (BSU).
Psychologist Natavan Hasanzade stated that the main goal of the training was to promote healthy eating habits among students and raise awareness of psychological issues related to food behavior.
During the session, participants were informed in detail about the causes, main symptoms, and prevention methods of eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Practical recommendations were also provided on developing a healthy relationship with food, managing emotional hunger, and fostering a more positive body image.
The training also offered guidance on balanced nutrition and highlighted the difference between appetite and true physical hunger.
In conclusion, students’ questions were addressed, followed by an interactive exchange of views on the topic.
