BSU Hosts Training on External Quality Assurance
Baku State University (BSU) has launched a training on “External Quality Assurance” led by Asiman Ilyasov, Advisor to the Rector for Quality Assurance.
During the training, it was noted that BSU has initiated the international accreditation of 14 master’s programs to enhance the university’s competitiveness. Participants discussed the accreditation criteria of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The training aimed to review international experience and challenges in quality assurance at universities, analyze current practices, and identify areas for improvement.
In his speech, Asiman Ilyasov highlighted the importance of quality assurance at both national and global levels, emphasizing that effective mechanisms boost universities’ competitiveness and strengthen their international standing.
It was concluded that such initiatives at BSU contribute to reinforcing quality assurance, increasing transparency and accountability, and promoting sustainable development and innovation.
