A training session titled “The Role of Innovative Geophysical Research Methods in Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits and the Stages of Geological Exploration” was held at Baku State University (BSU).

The training aimed to strengthen students’ practical understanding of geological sciences, enhance their knowledge of innovative research methods, and highlight the significance of geophysical techniques in mineral exploration.

Specialists from AzerGold CJSC, Elfag Mammadov and Amina Mammadova, delivered presentations on the role of geophysical research in mineral exploration, innovative technologies used in geological surveys, and the application of modern equipment and software. They also emphasized the importance of accurate geophysical data analysis, geological interpretation, and the need to train qualified professionals in the field.

During the session, students asked questions about career prospects in geology, professional development opportunities, and internship programs at the company. The guests shared their personal experiences, insights into real working conditions, and advice on building a successful career in the industry.
