BSU Hosts Training Session on Nanotechnology
A training session titled “Nanotechnology and Nanotechnological Aspects” was held at Baku State University (BSU) as part of a collaboration between the BSU Volunteers organization and volunteers from Baku ASAN xidmət Center No. 5.
During the session, Gabiba Shirinova, a lecturer at the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials of the Faculty of Physics, provided information on the fundamentals of nanotechnology, the history of the field, and its stages of development. She also spoke about the potential applications of nanotechnology in medicine, engineering, electronics, materials science, and other areas, as well as future development prospects.
As part of the program, participants visited the Nanoresearch Laboratory, where they were introduced to ongoing research activities, laboratory equipment, and key stages of the research process.
