BSU Hosts Trainings Within the Framework of the "Photojournalism Support Program"
Baku State University (BSU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Press Council, and the Public Association for Youth Education "Gizilbash," is hosting a series of trainings titled "Support for the Commercialization of Photojournalism as an Object of the Creative Industry." These trainings are organized as part of the "Photojournalism Support Program."
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism at BSU, Vugar Aliyev; Deputy Dean Samir Khalidoglu; and member of the board of the Press Council of Azerbaijan, Agil Alesker, emphasized the significance of these sessions in equipping young journalists with practical knowledge. They highlighted how studying and applying modern technologies can enhance the quality of media products.
Aimed at fostering the creative abilities of young photojournalists and students aspiring to work in this field, the trainings are dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the country's press. The program provides participants with opportunities to distribute and monetize their work on digital platforms while promoting local and international collaborations.
