BSU hosts XXIII International "Chinese Bridge" Competition
Baku State University has hosted the XXIII International "Chinese Bridge" Competition, organized by the Confucius Institute at Baku State University (BSU) and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.
The competition was attended by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China Ding Tao, BSU Vice-Rector Shahin Panahov, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Aydan Handan, Head of the International Relations Department of BSU Rauf Hasanov, and Director of the Confucius Institute at BSU Wang Haoqiang.
The first place in the competition was awarded to Khayala Mammadova, a student at the Confucius Institute operating at Khazar University. The second place went to Sevda Majidli, a student at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at BSU.
The third place was shared by Ayla Ismayilova, a student at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at BSU, Farida Suleymanova, a student at the Confucius Institute at BSU, and Fatima Aliyeva, a student at the Azerbaijan University of Languages.
The winner will represent Azerbaijan in the final stage of the competition, which will be held in China.
