Times Higher Education presented the University Impact Rankings for 2024, identifying and celebrating universities that excel across multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year, Baku State University (BSU) achieved a 37% improvement in its overall ranking score, increasing from 38.8 to 53.2, securing a place in the 1001-1500 range. BSU also ranked 201-300 for SDG 1 "No Poverty," 201-300 for SDG 10 "Reduced Inequalities," 401-600 for SDG 16 "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions," and 601-800 for SDG 17 "Partnerships for the Goals."
