A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Intellectual Property Agency and Baku State University (BSU) on staff training and cooperation in the field of scientific research.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, and Elchin Babayev, Rector of BSU.
According to the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the parties agreed to link the educational process with scientific practice, to strengthen the integration of science and education with production; formation of practical knowledge, skills and habits necessary for research and professional activity in students and graduates; application of scientific innovations and innovations in the scientific field of intellectual property rights to the educational process; Involvement of leading specialists in the relevant fields of specialization in the teaching process, support for conducting joint scientific research, organization of bilateral joint scientific symposiums, seminars and conferences; creation and development of cooperation in the field of scientific research and personnel training; they will cooperate in the field of organizing educational events for different audiences in the field of intellectual property culture formation.
