BSU is a partner of the 'Erasmus+' new project

Baku State University (BSU) and Khazar University have signed an agreement within the framework of the 'Development of research potential through Institutional Repositories Network in Azerbaijan' project, which is part of the Erasmus+ KA2 program funded by the European Union (Project ID: 101082124 - DIRNA - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE).

The goal of the project is to establish a network of institutional repositories (electronic archives) in eight higher educational institutions in Azerbaijan, drawing upon the experiences of Turkey, Italy, and Finland. The aim is to enhance the capacity of universities in managing research results.

The European partner universities in this project include the University of Jyväskylä (Finland), Izmir Institute of High Technologies (Turkey), and the University of Lakvila (Italy). Project partners from Azerbaijan encompass Khazar University, BSU, Azerbaijan Technical University, the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Ganja State University, Nakhchivan State University, Lankaran State University, and Mingachevir State University.

The project will be implemented in the Scientific Library of BSU over a period of three years.
