BSU, Japanese Tsukuba University sign MOU
Baku State University (BSU) and the University of Tsukuba, Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The agreement was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and President of the University of Tsukuba Kyosuke Nagata.
The memorandum provides for the implementation of joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, courses, training sessions, and joint scientific research. The memorandum also covers issues such as joint publications in scientific journals, the preparation of joint academic programs, curricula, and training programs, conducting training sessions, and the exchange of scientific and administrative staff, students, master’s students, doctoral students, and researchers.
It should be noted that the University of Tsukuba, founded in 1973, is one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. The University of Tsukuba ranks 355th in the QS University Rankings and 351-400 in the Times Higher Education Rankings.
