BSU Joins the International Sustainable Campus Network
Baku State University (BSU) has officially become a member of the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN), marking a significant milestone as the first higher education institution in Azerbaijan to join the organization.
The ISCN is a global platform that fosters the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and initiatives among universities committed to sustainable development. It brings together leading institutions from around the world to promote environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The network is also recognized and supported as a strategic partner by QS, one of the world’s most prestigious university ranking agencies.
BSU’s membership in the ISCN highlights the university’s growing international reputation and affirms the impact of its sustainability strategy and environmental initiatives. This achievement not only reflects BSU’s commitment to the global sustainability agenda but also enhances its efforts to transition to a green campus model.
As a member of the ISCN, BSU will undertake sustainability projects, participate in international events, and expand its opportunities for scientific collaboration within the global academic community.
