08/04/2026

Baku State University (BSU), in collaboration with its Student Youth Organization (SYO), has launched the “5 Days Urban Weeks” project.

Speakers highlighted the initiative’s role in raising students’ awareness of urban development, sustainable planning, and modern urban solutions. The project, implemented within the framework of the “Year of Urban Development and Architecture,” continues BSU’s efforts to promote both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Participants also noted that growing national attention to urban planning—further reinforced by Baku hosting the WUF-13 International Urban Forum—has increased interest in this field. The program aims to equip students with a deeper understanding of urbanization processes and their social, economic, and environmental dimensions.
