BSU Launches “From BSU to International Experience” Project
The first seminar within the framework of the “From BSU to International Experience” project was held online. The initiative, organized by the Career and Alumni Center of Baku State University (BSU), aims to introduce students and graduates to the success stories of BSU alumni who have continued their education or are pursuing professional careers abroad.
Opening the event, Center staff members Gunel Gurbanova and Fidan Ismayilova spoke about the project’s objectives and emphasized the importance of developing practical knowledge and professional skills within an international environment.
The seminar featured Nigar Ramilova, a graduate of BSU’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology and currently a clinical psychologist at the MEDIAN Clinic of Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy in Germany. She delivered a presentation entitled “Working as a Clinical Psychologist in Germany: Real-World Processes and Challenges.” In her presentation, she addressed issues such as diploma recognition procedures, professional work permits, and the stages of professional development and practical training.
Ramilova advised students and graduates who plan to study and build a career in psychology abroad to begin language preparation at an early stage, thoroughly research diploma recognition requirements in advance, and prepare carefully for the professional integration process.
The seminar continued in an interactive format, during which participants received comprehensive information about the international labor market and career opportunities in the field of psychology.
