BSU Launches New Master's Specialization in Geopolitics
Beginning with the 2026/2027 academic year, the Faculty of International Relations and Economics at Baku State University (BSU) will, for the first time, offer a Master's specialization in Geopolitics.
As part of the curriculum, master's students will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in classical and modern geopolitical theory, regional and global balance of power, energy geopolitics, transport corridors, geoeconomic processes, geopolitical aspects of international conflicts, and strategic planning.
Graduates of the program will be able to work in government agencies, think tanks, international organizations, research institutes, media outlets, consulting firms, and other organizations working in the field of international relations and strategic research.
