BSU Law Faculty Hosts Student Civil Trial Simulation
A series of civil trial simulations organized by members of the BSU Volunteers organization at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University (BSU), in collaboration with the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law, has successfully concluded.
Head of the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law, Esmer Aliyeva, congratulated the participants on completing the simulation, noting that it was the first to be held in this format. She emphasized the importance of such initiatives in legal education, their contribution to students’ professional development, and expressed gratitude to the Judicial-Legal Council and the Supreme Court for their support.
Chairman of the BSU Volunteers organization at the Faculty of Law, Elem Nebizade, announced the winners of the competition held within the simulation framework. The event continued with students presenting a mock civil court hearing.
At the conclusion of the event, Judge Ispendiyar Shefiev of the Civil Collegium of the Supreme Court delivered a seminar on “Unified Judicial Practice” and answered students’ questions.
