BSU Law Students Participate in International Moot Court Competition
Students of the Law School at Baku State University (BSU) — Kamil Abdullazade, Nazrin Sadykova, Fatima Mammadova, and Fazil Velizade — participated in the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition held in Athens.
The competition is considered one of the most prestigious student moot court competitions in Europe in the field of human rights.
The program included an academic session and an official opening ceremony. During the academic program, participants attended expert presentations and discussions on current human rights issues.
During the main stage of the competition — oral pleadings — teams presented legal arguments and defended the positions of the parties in a hypothetical human rights case.
The BSU team delivered their pleadings at the Athens Court of Appeal, presenting their legal arguments before an international jury. All participants were awarded certificates.
