Alikamal Hasan, a student of the Young Talents Lyceum of Baku State University (BSU), won a silver medal at the 30th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO 2026), held in Romania.

The Azerbaijani team delivered an impressive performance at the competition, bringing home three silver and three bronze medals.

It is worth noting that Alikamal Hasan also previously earned a silver medal at the European Mathematical Cup, a prestigious competition that brought together participants from 35 countries.
