The award ceremony for the winners of the Republican Subject Olympiads was recently held, recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of students across the country. Among the winners were seven students from the "Young Talents" Lyceum at Baku State University (BSU).

The Lyceum students earned a total of seven medals:

• Alikamal Hasan won a gold medal in mathematics.
• Silver medals were awarded to:
  – Fidan Gashimova (chemistry)
  – Sulduz Hajiyev (mathematics)
  – Emilia Agayeva (Azerbaijani language and literature)
  – Yusif Ibrahimzade (physics)
  – Elman Karimli and Jabir Abbasov (chemistry)
