The Faculty of Information and Document Management at Baku State University (BSU) hosted a scientific seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Central Scientific Library (CSL) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

During the seminar, Ayshen Bagirzade, a master’s student from the Department of Library and Information Resources Management, delivered an insightful presentation titled “Electronic Resources of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.”

In her report, Bagirzade provided an overview of the history and development of the CSL, noting that the institution was founded in 1925. She outlined the library's evolution over the decades, highlighting major milestones in its growth and modernization.

The report also featured visual graphics showing the growth of the library’s digital resources, offered comparative analysis, and showcased electronic exhibitions and projects initiated by the CSL. Additionally, it explored opportunities for accessing international databases and reputable scientific resources.

Concluding the seminar, Director of the Central Scientific Library, Gusein Guseinov, expressed his sincere appreciation for the recognition and support of the library’s century-long contribution to science and education.
