BSU marks World Quantum Day

Baku State University has hosted a scientific seminar dedicated to April 14 - World Quantum Day. The seminar was jointly organized by the Faculty of Physics, the Research Institute of Physical Problems of Baku State University and the Institute of Physics of ANAS.
The event was moderated by Mammad Rajabov, Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics. He stressed that the World Quantum Day was established voluntarily by researchers from 67 countries active in quantum physics and related fields.
Elchin Jafarov, Head of the Quantum Informatics Laboratory of the Institute of Physics of ANAS made a report entitled "Exact solutions of the model of a quantum harmonic oscillator, demonstrating the effect of semi-confinement".
