Baku State University (BSU) has inaugurated its new Student Development Center to foster students’ academic, professional and social growth.

At the opening ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev said the launch of the center marks a “new page” in BSU’s 106-year history. “The Center will provide opportunities for students to communicate, develop, and solve problems, enhancing both their scientific achievements and social life,” he noted.

Babayev also underlined BSU’s ongoing infrastructure renewal, citing new spaces such as Ecospace, Student Space and Ecoenergy Station created within COP29. “Training highly qualified personnel for Azerbaijan remains our main mission, and by fulfilling it responsibly we contribute to our country’s future,” he added.
