A delegation led by Rizwan Riaz, Pro-Rector for Research, Innovation and Commercialization of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, visited Baku State University (BSU) to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation.

During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev informed the Pakistani delegation about the history and the activity of the university.

Babayev pointed out the prospects for cooperation across various domains, including biotechnology, nanotechnology, biomedical research, computer sciences and cyber security. He particularly noted that a dual diploma program envisaging joint researches and creation of laboratories could be signed between the two institutions.

Rizwan Riaz provided an insight into the National University of Science and Technolog and its activities, noting that they are interested in joint research and teacher-student exchange with BSU.
