BSU participates in the International Library and Technology Festival
Employees and students of the Faculty of Information and Document Management of Baku State University (BSU) are participating in the International Library and Technology Festival held in Istanbul.
The festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, is dedicated to the theme 'The Key to the Digital Future: Artificial Intelligence Based Smart Libraries’.
At the opening ceremony of the festival, the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Document Management of BSU, Associate Professor Alamdar Jabbarly, and Associate Professor Rashad Gardashov spoke, sharing information about the library and information infrastructure of Azerbaijan.
As part of the festival, students of the faculty Naiba Mammedzade, Sabina Gasımlı, Rahman Mammadli, and Senan Garayev will present their projects on the topics of 'Information Security,' 'Smart Libraries,' 'Digital Archives,' and 'Cloud Technologies in Libraries’.
