Ziyatkhan Aliyev, Professor at the Department of Mathematical Analysis of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Baku State University (BSU) participated in the Voronezh Winter Mathematical School "Modern methods of function theory and related problems".

The event was hosted by the Voronezh State University in cooperation with  Lomonosov Moscow State University and  Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS.

Ziyatkhan Aliyev made a presentation "Convergence of the Expansion in the Eigenfunctions of a Fourth-Order Differential Operator  with a Spectral Parameter in the Boundary Condition".  The BSU professor commented on the results and answered the questions of the conference participants.
